All Saint's Richmond Hill Church Of England Primary School

Competitions 24/25

Football v Richmond Hill

We had a great game of football against our friends from down the road - Richmond Hill.  It was a good game ,against a strong Richmond Hill team, and we managed to finish on top - winning 4-0.  Everyone played well and the parents watching were certainly impressed. Tyler, for keeping his defensive position so well, and Frankie, for a strong ,two goal performance up front, were  joint player of the match.  I also have to mention that Arham's headed goal, from a great corner by Ashley, was possibly the best I've seen at primary level!

The Balance Challenge!

This was our first whole school challenge of the school year.  Balancing on one leg is good for us in many ways and a lot harder than it looks.  Whoever could do it for the longest was the champion.  Here are the Year 3 champions Jahaziah and Arayah.  Well done guys!

Return match v Richmond Hill

On Tuesday 11th February we invited Richmond Hill Primary to have a return football match on our school field.  It was another great game between two good teams.  We ended up comfortable winners  with a 6-1 victory. Frankie scored 4, so not surprisingly was man of the match. Also, Arham amazed everyone there scoring with an incredible overhead kick! Another great team effort.

Whole school dance competition!

This is always a highlight of the year and this year's was another fabulous event. What a great way to end the term! Each class did themselves proud and Year Two were voted (each adult there could have two votes) as this year's champions! Well done to them and congratulations to everyone for the great dances they performed.

Football v Shakespeare Primary.

On February 27th we took two teams to play at Shakespeare Primary.  It was great seeing two good games going on side by side.  The more established team won their game 4-1.  A big thank you and well done to Happiness who stepped in at the last minute to play so well as goalkeeper! Our other team had 6 out of 7 representing the school for the first time.  Although they ended up losing 4-2, they all played really well and can be proud of their efforts.
