Year Five
Jovin started a brilliant piece of writing, writing from the point of view of a giraffe jumping off a high diving board.
This is a lovely letter from Michelle in Year 3 to the NHS and a picture of Max who has been very creative in his home learning throughout.
To complete the Year 3 hat-trick, this is is an extended story - 7 chapters - by Tristan, inspired by a picture of a flying house. Brilliant work!
The adventures of Tiago and Pedro
This week, the Year 6s were asked to write and perform poems about how they feel about missing out on SATs this year. Here is James's fantastic poem and a bit of a speech too. Well done James - I couldn't have put it better myself. You really are all fantastic!

Adventure across the Himalayas
In school this week we have been on a mountain adventure across the Himalayas. It was a dangerous journey as we had to watch out for the Tibetan mastif, mountain goats, great black bears, snow leopards, vultures and the mountain Yeti. On our adventure, we crossed the Tibetan Plateau, marshlands, climbed up and down rocky hills and over the mountains. We travelled under waterfalls, down the river rapids, through caves and across dangerous lakes until we settled down for the night around our campfire, where we built tents and drunk hot chocolate. What an exhausting adventure, but it was great fun. Take a look at our pictures to see who came along with us!
Tyssa-Ann worked really hard to write her ending to our story competition. I loved reading about the underwater world and the reference to The Wizard of Oz! Well done Tyssa!
Year 1
Harriet wrote a lovely piece about what she has enjoyed during in lockdown and what she has found difficult in lockdown. It made me both smile and feel sad at the same time.
Year 1
Gregory made a fabulous fish out of recycled materials. I don't know why but it really made me feel like a bag of crisps!
Broomstick Training.
On Thursday we all completed broomstick training. We had lots of fun!
Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday.
This week was Queen Elizabeth II's birthday. We celebrated by having a tea party on Wednesday with cucumber sandwiches, home made crowns, jam tarts and jelly and ice cream. We had a great time!
We have had a lovely and busy start to the week! We have continued to use the website to complete our work and have been exploring our woodland area today. We have designed our own woodland area and made clay rainbow fish to show our continuing support for the NHS.
Year 5
Halle made this presentation for an Easter service over the Easter holidays.
The children who were in school today made their own version of table football. We used a shoe box, some dowel, some pegs and some corks.
Reception
Tabeya has been practising turning her bike so she can do laps of the garden!
Yonatan made some fresh orange juice and wrote a brilliant recipe.
Junior has been helping out in the kitchen, looks delicious!

Ashley used his maths in a tense game of monopoly. He counted on and handled money - and won!
Year Five
Tyler wrote a wonderful letter thanking the NHS staff for all of their hard work.
Year 1
We have had some wonderful work sent in over the last week in Year 1. Maro, Isla and Leila all started their own shops and started adding and subtracting to work out change. Harriet has been doing some super writing about the world and made a lovely poster about keeping safe from the Corona Virus. Ellie made and amazing fact file about giraffes, with a super picture of one too. Gregory did some absolutely fabulous writing using our picture stimulus of the young boy and the dog. Max made an amazing exploding volcano! Keep the work coming Year 1, I am super proud of what you are all doing.
Year 2
Adam has been super busy creating his own funny poem! Well done, Adam!
Year Six
James in Year 6 has been designing front covers for his home learning books. He has thought so much about his design and chose exercising because it is something he enjoys, dancing as this is a passion of his and the PS4 because this is something he enjoys doing in his spare time. The mountain climbing image with Saint Gemma's above it is there because they did alot for him and his mum's side of the family and it also shows when he climbed the mountain for his grandad to raise money for the hospice. IWell done James.
Year Five
Jak and his brother Ashley made a den today. It looks like they had a lot of fun!
Halle and Jak have made these lovely rainbows that they are going to put in their windows to spread some joy and happiness.
Reception
Reception have been sharing their home learning with me on Tapestry.

Junior created a rainbow for his window and inspired others in his street to stick up notes for each other. What a way to keep everyone smiling!
Ashley has planted sunflowers that he can watch grow. He thinks it will grow taller than me!
Piper has written a description of a witch, I am very impressed with your phonics!
Year 6
Tiffany in Year 6 has been spreading love over the past few days. She has been making paper aeroplanes and sending them to her neighbour's child whom is on her own and seems really bored. Tiffany told me she is doing this to make her feel happier. What a lovely thing to do. Keep up the great work All Saints - together we can make a real difference.
Year 6 have been writing letters to the emergency services to spread a little happiness and encouragement. I am sure that this letter will definitely raise the spirits of many doctors and nurses when they read it. Well done Feven
